Privacy policy.

This site belongs to Awais Malik. I'm responsible for any personal data collected through it. Questions about this policy: hello@awaismalik.com.

Only what you choose to send me. Through the contact form that's your name, email address, optionally your company and website, the services you're interested in, and your message. If you email me directly, I receive whatever is in that email.

I don't ask for sensitive information. Please don't include passwords, payment details or other confidential data in a message — we can arrange a safer way to share those if a project needs them.

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to run the project. That's it.

I don't add you to mailing lists, and I never sell your details or share them for advertising.

Contact form messages are sent to my inbox through Resend, an email-delivery service, and kept in my email account. Resend processes the data only to deliver the message on my behalf.

Like most websites, the hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for a short time, for security and to keep the site running.

This site uses no advertising scripts. Fonts are served from this site itself, not from a third party.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that messages come from a person, not a bot. It looks at technical signals from your browser for that check only and sets no tracking cookies.

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and page views without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.

Google Analytics is only switched on if you choose "Allow" in the cookie notice. It then sets cookies to measure how the site is used (pages visited, rough location, device type), with IP addresses anonymised. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookies" link in the footer.

Two small entries are saved in your browser: one remembers that you've already seen the loading screen during this visit, the other remembers your cookie choice. Neither leaves your browser.

Enquiries that don't turn into a project are deleted within 12 months. For clients, project correspondence is kept for as long as the work and any legal or accounting requirements need it.

Depending on where you live (for example under the UAE's personal data protection law, or the GDPR in the EU and UK), you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used.

This site links to other services such as LinkedIn, GitHub and Fiverr. They have their own privacy policies, which apply once you visit them.
